Record #FEASmb[Recovered Artifact]: Bottled Scent of Defiance
Date: Carbon Coded Regime, c. 2020s
Classification: Feminist Resistance / Petrocapitalism Critique
Description: Three small perfume vials with metallic caps, tagged: “Covering the stench of sexism #FEAS.” Linked to the Feminist Educators Against Sexism (#FEAS) collective, they circulated as satirical protest objects across academic conferences and public protest sites. Parodying petrocapitalist logics of concealment, they exposed how perfume, policy, and institutional rhetoric masked the entwined violences of patriarchy and ecological collapse.
The emptied glass retains a trace of jasmine and smoke — now classified as residue of defiance.
