Reflection

Writing this analysis has been a very constructive and interesting learning experience for me. I got the opportunity to learn more about a product I have recently started using in my classroom. Before this assignment, I only thought about Kahoot! from the teacher perspective, and I only saw it as a tool that I can use to create engaging quizzes for my students for free. Now I see the full value in this product. I got the opportunity to read/research and write about this product by analyzing it and recognizing its growth and continued potential in the game-based learning market. I have been using the free version of Kahoot!, but now I look forward to upgrading to the Kahoot! Premium+ package, and I intend to purchase the Kahoot+ Access pass. I am fortunate enough that each student in my school-board has access to a Google Chromebook in the classroom and outside of school, which will give me the opportunity to use Kahoot at its fullest potential. I really look forward to presenting my findings to my colleagues in my school and in the schoolboard. Many teachers in my community are already aware of this product, but are not aware of its fullest capabilities, and its potential to grow even further.
