Gemini Home Entertainment is a series created by Remy Abode, his last name means a home or dwelling while Remy can mean cure. Which in the context of his series, which largely references entities called "Natures Mockery" which nest in homes with lots of people in them, is very ironic. Gemini Home Entertainment differs greatly from Local 58, Local 58 had very little in what could be called a linear story, Gemini Home Entertainment not only has a comprehensive story, it has branched out from simply one medium and even has a game related to one of its episodes ("Games For Kids").
As a warning, there will be spoilers in the next 3 sections, where I will discuss major plot points within the series. The Wilderness Survival Guide introduces us to Natures Mockery, which is something that seems to have infested the state. Expanding on what Local 58 set up, Gemini Home Entertainment uses more widely known and mundane means of communicating their plot. While Local 58 had the weather broadcasts and government news, Gemini Home Entertainment used nature documentaries and the like, which seemed more in place than Local 58, which makes sense since Gemini is directly inspired by Local 58.
One of the key characteristics that set this series out from others is how instead of having a singular organization simply as the medium of sharing the episodes like Local 58, GHE (Gemini Home Entertainment) shares multiple organizations within it, some aptly named REGNAD (Danger backwards) and Harbing Technologies. The subtle use of branding to identify whether or not an episode displayed is under the influence of the Iris, or for out own sake is an interesting way of setting up plot points due to the obscurity of the plot.
The series is reaching a more conclusive state with the Crusader Probe, where we have finally seen the Iris and have a larger grasp on what is actually happening, the enemy of the series is not Natures Mockery, or REGNAD, its a parasitic planet. This episode has many details that most would overlook, but to those who have examined it, the moons referenced in this are fictional moons that were previously thought to exist. In this case, they are simply a part of the Iris.
