Post-Doc
Post-Doc follow-up - Dr. Hannele Holtinnen, VTT Researcher, Finland, visitor to LNEG (with the status of Collaborating Researcher) subject to the theme: "Forecasting tools and electricity markets for wind power". Under a "Mobility Grant of the FP7 IRP prjecto. Wind (December 2015 to May 2016).
This collaboration has enabled the researcher to expand her knowledge of agent-based electricity market projects and, from an extended perspective, on the integration into the electricity system of wind and solar photovoltaic power plants, underway in the LNEG, and has contributed to deepening her knowledge of market mechanisms and future energy system integration issues. Under this mobility initiative, meetings were organized with other Portuguese stakeholders (TSO REN, ERSE and EDP, ...) and general interviews/interactions on future changes in energy systems.
Post-Doc companionship of Dr. Andrés Honrubia Escribano, UCLM teacher - University of Castilla-La Mancha (Espanha) and Visiting Researcher (with the status of Collaborating Researcher of the LNEG) sjeito to the topic: "Integration of Wind Energy in Power Electrical Systems". (April to September 2015).
This collaboration aimed at the joint study by LNEG and UCLM of methodologies for the integration of renewable sources into distributed networks, in particular with regard to their aggregation and effect of cancellation of fluctuations and power peaks in distribution networks, taking as a context the work plan of the MediRES project proposal, submitted to the European call ERANET.Med.
