A collaborative project that bridges industrial, Middle Eastern, and contemporary classical music. Formed in 2023, the quartet includes violinist Ayman Asfour, recorder virtuoso Sylvia Hinz, electronic artist Jeanne Artemis, and vocalist / electronic artist Amro Zidan. Their debut EP, No Signal, is on the horizon, promising an innovative blend of diverse traditions and cutting-edge soundscapes. This project invites listeners on a journey through the interplay of culture and musical experimentation.

This event was part of the Alexandria Heritage Days, in collaboration with the Goethe Institute Alexandria
During a week-long residency, Egyptian musician Amro Zidan and German musician Daniel Dominguez Teruel delved into the sonic exploration of climate change's impact on cities like Alexandria and Bremen. Through experimental sound practices, the artists engaged in deep listening to reflect on rising sea levels, loss, community, cultural heritage, and the uncertainties of the future.

this residency brought together Ahmed Eid (Palestine - Germany), Electro Zebala (Egypt, Algeria - France), and EIN L AQL (Egypt) for an inspiring collaborative experience. Guided by artistic facilitator Ahmed Saleh, the artists created original tracks that fused their diverse musical styles.
The residency culminated in two electrifying performances in Alexandria and Cairo, showcasing the unique results of their collaboration. This project highlighted the transformative power of artistic residencies in fostering innovation and cross-cultural exchange through music.
