Amro Zidan is a multidisciplinary artist from Alexandria, Egypt, living in Alexandria and Cairo, whose practice spans experimental sound, electronic music, and visual media, including performance, improvisation, music production, rapping, vocal experimentation, sound design, sound engineering, projection-based new media, and visual art. Through both solo and collaborative projects, he creates immersive, site-responsive audio-visual works. Each project carries its own distinct sonic and conceptual identity, reflecting his deep commitment to experimentation and context-specific creation.
His recent solo work, including Ecstasy of Mania and Tamheed Lil Fawda, explores high-energy experimental electronic music with underground/experimental club and Middle Eastern influences, creating immersive live sets suitable for festival stages, club environments, and hybrid performance spaces...
