NLC Setup: Walkthrough

Let’s walk through each tab in NLC (Next Level Contracting) to get you fully set up and ready to submit contracts here!

LOGIN PAGE

You can initiate the process of onboarding to NLC by logging into HCMS, where a pop-up will redirect you to NLC, or by logging in on their homepage, using the same login credentials as HCMS.

WELCOME: SETUP STEPS

This page lays out the different pieces of information you will need to provide throughout the onboarding process. It’s almost the exact same process as SuranceBay, so keep all of those files on hand!

BASIC: PROFILE REVIEW

This is where you confirm that the information in HCMS, pulled from NIPR, is accurate and up-to-date.

BENEFICIARY

Who do you want your commissions to be paid to if you should pass? You'll need their full Legal Name, Social Security Number, Address, and Phone Number.

BANKING

This page is used to provide your banking information for commissions. Most people choose Daily for their Producer Payout Frequency, but you can choose whichever you prefer!

INSURANCE

This page is where you specify your E&O coverage, and upload your certificate. If it says your file is too large, you can quickly reduce it for free on SmallPDF.

Just scroll down on the homepage and click Compress PDF! No need to create an account, unless you have multiple files to compress.

TRAINING

This page is where producer training information is saved. Your Provider is likely WebCe, but if you went through a different vendor, that’s fine, too!

For Course ID, put AML-206954

This is what your training page should look like after you have added your Anti-Money Laundering Certification information.

EMPLOYMENT

This page is used to provide employment history. Filling this in is optional, but highly recommended.

QUESTIONS

This page contains a comprehensive list of questions requested by insurance carriers. Any "Yes" answers may trigger a requirement for you to provide an explanation form that can be uploaded.

SIGNATURE

This page is where you create your signature. You can pick from a few different fonts.

Once you decide on one, scroll down and go through the disclaimer, and accept the Digital Signature Consent.

SUMMARY

Once you have filled in all the required information on previous tabs, next up is creating your first Contracting Request.
