Hi and welcome to my site! My name is Aminah and I'm excited to share what I've learned in this course through this portfolio.
If you've ever gotten to know me really well, you would know that I'm not really a techy person. It's not something that I've ever gotten the hang of, although Ms. Noone's class defintely helped. It's been pretty neat learning new things about a device I practically use every single day.
Me last year (snow blindness sucks)
I may not be a techy person, but I am a movie/tv show person - I could spend my entire weekend watching all of my favorite shows and movies, some of which are Supernatural, The Great, The Lord of the Rings franchise, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV show, The Legend of Vox Machina, Good Omens, among many, many others! I love to talk movies and tv shows, so don't be afraid to ask me about them, if you don't mind yapping. :)
If I'm not watching something, you could find me crocheting random things or writing stories. My current works-in-progress in crochet include Coraline inspired hand warmers, hat, and key chain, and my story is a murder mystery novel in which I'M still figuring out the murderer!
One of my favorite ways to procrastinate hobbies is baking. It's so relaxing being in my kitchen with nothing but something playing in my ears and the ingredients. I can bake almost anything, but I especially love to make bread or cinnamon rolls - mainly because of the smell of the dough and the kneading motion.
And if I'm actually doing work, I'm probably either teaching English at a homeschooling institute at my local mosque or teaching Islamic Studies to young girls, ages from 9-17, at that same mosque! It can be draining at times, since kids aren't the easiest to work with sometimes, but it's rewarding.

Man, this course went by fast! I really feel like I learned a lot in this course and I know most of it will stick with me over time. It was super fun being able to work on this project, and all the others, but it was also super fun working with Ms. Noone! She was very easy to reach and very funny. Even though I was pretty quiet in the class, it was never dry with her. :))
