The CREW may not always be visable or audible but without them you would not SEE or HEAR anything in the average production! We couldn't have done it without them. Check out this re cap of some of their best work.
This week, crew divided into two. One group went to Beye School to begin tech week for A Midsummer Night's Dream and the rest stayed to start working on Into the Woods. It was an eventful week as they finished up props and scenery for both shows and began to learn their backstage positions.

This week the kids were in full show mode working on the sets for Into the Woods Jr. and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Once agin we worked in design teams. One team worked on build projects creating the frame work for giant trees and platforms while another decorated the frames with paper maché. The scenic art team painted both large set pieces and detail work on a giant Athen’s flat for Midsummer. All three teams worked together to put the final touches on the set for the Youth Camp production of The Jungle Book Kids.

This week we worked on the sets of Into the Woods Jr. and Jungle Book Kids. We worked in teams this week. The scenic design teams created giant trees by attaching chicken wire to wood and then paper mache-ing over the wires. Another scenic design team created hundreds of paper flowers by carefully folding and cutting tissue paper. The set construction teams used drills to build sturdy platforms. Parent's Day Setup Teams worked to create the displays for the gallery. Crew members helped with mics, videos, and backstage during the Parent's Day presentation. Next week we will continue set build!
