Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (CNR-IPCB)

National Research Council of Italy - Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (CNR-IPCB) – Naples, Italy

CNR-IPCB is fully committed and is part of the National Research Council of Italy dedicated to synthesis and chemical modification of polymers; design of specialty polymers, composite materials, biomaterials, and hydrogels; processing of micro/nano-structured materials; and characterization (i.e., morphology, chemical properties, degradation, thermal stability, mechanical properties, conductive properties). Naples site will be led by Dr. Vincenzo Guarino, a Research Scientist at CNR-IPCB since 2006.

Within the CNR Institutes, the IPCB operates in the area of polymers and composite structures for different application fields. CNR has high-performance equipment for preparation and characterization of polymers and multi-component materials.
