The Advanced Membrane and Materials Bio and Integration Research Laboratory

The AMBIR laboratory is primarily focused on the investigation of bio (biomedical, biological) and nano electronic device integration using advanced material/membrane systems to meet global technological challenges. The AMBIR team specializes in fabricating, characterizing, modeling, and studying the properties and fundamental applications of nanofiber systems, nanolaminate and thin film interactions, and integrated bio/nano devices for drug delivery, sensing/detecting, energy harvesting, regenerative processes, and filtering. The team continues to broaden diversity, equity and inclusion of under-represented minorities and women in STEM through community engagement initiatives.
