ITALY

Rimini - city break

Rimini is one of the provinces in Emilia Romagna.

Although it is famous mainly for being a touristic destination in the summer, Rimini is rich in history, which is absolutely worth discovering! The Arch of Augustus, the Bridge of Tiberius, the Malatesta temple...to name but a few*! If you are planning your next weekend here, you can't miss them!

IRELAND

Kilkenny Castle - guided tour

In south-eastern Ireland, you can visit the Medieval town of Kilkenny and its castle, which dates back* to the 12th century.

You can explore the castle on your own with a self-guided walking tour map.

ITALY

APULIA REGION - souvenirs

This is a "pumo", a typical handwork produced in Apulia.

It symbolizes a bud which is blossoming and it's conventionally believed to bring good luck. Apulian citizens usually have it as a decoration in their gardens or on the balconies of their houses.

It is often given as a symbol of good omen* in case of momentuous** events in somebody's life: relocation***, a new activity in sight...or simply to wish somebody good luck!

*omen = auspicio

***relocation = trasloco

liverpool - the beatles' hometown

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison were all born in Liverpool.

John and Paul first met on 6th July 1957 and some months later George joined them. Finally, Ringo Starr became the drummer of the group in 1962: the band was complete! "Please Please me" (1964) was their first album.
