Capstone assignments allows graduates to apply theoretical principles to real-world circumstances and serve as a culmination of the knowledge and abilities learned throughout a degree program. These tasks provide me the chance to integrate the knowledge I've gained from coaching pedagogy and physical education classes, as well as to show that I can create workable answers to problems that arise when coaching sports. Capstone projects involve extensive study, critical analysis, and reflective practice, all of which help me improve as a coach and broaden my knowledge of athlete development. In the end, these projects will improve me as a coach by giving me the knowledge and skills I need to design successful, research-based coaching programs that enhance the development and performance of my athletes.Â
