I was born and raised in Georgia as the middle child, with one older sister and one younger brother. I've always enjoyed sports and outdoor activities, and I'm constantly looking for new ways to keep busy and active. In addition to my passion for athletics, I have a strong interest in arts and crafts, especially home renovation and interior design. These passions have given me the ability to express my creativity and achieve balance in my life, whether it is through artistic or physical pursuits.
I followed my studies with a concentration on Public Health after high school, graduating from Georgia College and State University in 2020 with a bachelor's degree. My original objective was to become a nurse, however while I was an undergraduate, I completed a physical education course that really changed my viewpoint. My decision to take a different route was influenced by my experience in the class, especially by my instructor's influence. I decided to pursue a master's degree in Kinesiology/Physical Education after realizing that my love of health and physical education could be used as a teaching tool. I finished this degree program in 2021.
I have been coaching soccer for the past four years, and I am currently pursuing a specialized degree in coaching pedagogy, which has allowed me to apply my expanding knowledge to the role. My ultimate goal is to have a significant impact on my athletes' and students' lives by giving them values and skills they can use every day. The ability to shape the next generation is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am grateful to be able to impact and guide so many young people.
