Welcome to Altamont Elementary School! Whether this is your first year, your last year, or any year in between, we are glad to have you join us!
The purpose of the Parent Teacher Association, or PTA, is to serve as advocates for our children, support our wonderful faculty and principal, and help keep our families informed of relevant information about their children's education.
Altamont families and teachers work together to build a strong community for our children, where they can build lifetime friendships, unforgettable memories and the strong foundation they need for their future. Our PTA is the engine behind many programs and initiatives that bring our children together and create a fun social learning environment. Not only do we host fun events but we also have fully funded educational programs like our art program.
We are proud to support our school and our children. Please consider joining us to make a difference in the lives, education, and welfare of our children. Thank you for your support!
With Great Appreciation,
Altamont Elementary School PTA Board
In conjunction with the National and State Parent Teacher Associations, the Altamont PTA mission is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.
Every year we try and hold the following events: Fun Run, Trunk or Treat, Winter Festival and Silent Auction, Penny Wars, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Donuts with Grown Ups. We also partner up with ASB and the administration to co-host: Sweetheart's Dance, Pipsqueak Party and Field Day.
These events are only made possible by our members and volunteers.
We are always in need of new members and new volunteers. We hope you'll join us.
