What is the Fun Run?
To help our teaching staff out with on-site fundraisers, classroom parties and larger classroom supplies, the PTA hosts our annual Fun Run. Leading up to the event, our students ask for monetary donations from family, friends, community members, etc. The money raised goes towards our students' classrooms for the teacher to use as needed DURING THAT SCHOOL YEAR. The day of the event, our students' families are invited to come to the Altamont track to root on their Panther as they run around the track during their class' time slot. This is an ALL DAY EVENT - the more people we have to help, the smoother the event goes.
WE NEED DISTRICT APPROVED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH OUR SET UP, CLEAN UP, WELCOME TABLE, WATER STATION, CRASH POSTERS CREATION, TALLY MARKERS, POPSICLE STATION AND LAP STICKER COLLECTION.
