14th Conference of the Association for Linguistic Typology

The University of Texas at Austin, USA

The 14th International Conference of the Association for Linguistic Typology was held at the University of Texas at Austin, USA, on 15-17 December (Thursday-Saturday), 2022.

A series of teach-ins took place on Wednesday, December 14, immediately preceding the conference.

Linguistics is a vibrant field at UT and spans multiple departments and research centers. UT’s main campus is located in downtown Austin, in a convenient location for public, private and foot transportation. Austin itself is well known for its music and nightlife, and is accessible via an international airport. The campus is easy to navigate, with the Tower at its center, and is lush and green year-round. The conference will take place in December – a very comfortable time of year here with plenty of sunshine and daytime temperatures averaging around 17 degrees Celsius. We look forward to welcoming you in Austin!
