Local Counseling and Support Groups:
- Hospice Agencies: If your family used home or in-patient hospice services, there are usually grief and bereavement support groups and counseling services available through these local agencies. Contact your hospice case manager or call the agency’s main number for more information.
- Hospitals: Many hospitals offer various grief and bereavement support services. These services can be found on the hospital’s website, or by calling the hospital’s main number.
- Search 211 for local Support Group Meetings: Type ‘Bereavement’ in the search field, and your town in the location field https://www.211ct.org/
**If you plan on attending any new support group meetings, always contact the listed facilitator or location of the meeting before-hand**
