Ghayathi Common School 2025-2026

Hello! I am excited to begin this new chapter of my teaching journey at Ghayathi Common School in the United Arab Emirates. Teaching has always been a calling for me, and this opportunity represents both professional growth and a chance to broaden my perspective as an educator. Coming from Jamaica, I naturally notice the differences in culture, lifestyle, and dress here in the UAE. These differences are not challenges, but opportunities—opportunities to learn, to adapt, and to develop a deeper appreciation for the traditions and values of my new environment. I am committed to fully immersing myself in the culture and to embracing the expectations and standards of the school and the wider community. This experience is more than a career step; it is a journey of personal growth, responsibility, and dedication. I look forward to contributing positively to the school community, supporting my students’ academic success, and upholding the professionalism and values expected of me as a teacher in the UAE.

أنا متحمسة لبدء هذا الفصل الجديد من رحلتي التعليمية في مدرسة غياثي المشتركة في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. لقد كان التعليم دائماً رسالة بالنسبة لي، وهذه الفرصة تمثل نمواً مهنياً وفرصة لتوسيع آفاقي كمعلمة.

قادمةً من جامايكا، ألاحظ بطبيعة الحال الاختلافات في الثقافة وأسلوب الحياة واللباس هنا في دولة الإمارات. هذه الاختلافات ليست تحديات، بل فرص—فرص للتعلم، والتكيف، وتطوير تقدير أعمق للتقاليد والقيم في بيئتي الجديدة. أنا ملتزمة بالاندماج الكامل في هذه الثقافة، وبالالتزام بالتوقعات والمعايير الخاصة بالمدرسة والمجتمع الأوسع.

هذه التجربة هي أكثر من مجرد خطوة في مسيرتي المهنية؛ إنها رحلة للنمو الشخصي، والمسؤولية، والتفاني. أتطلع إلى المساهمة بشكل إيجابي في مجتمع المدرسة، ودعم النجاح الأكاديمي لطلابي، والتمسك بالمهنية والقيم المتوقعة مني كمعلمة في دولة الإمارات.
