Numerical analysis of high frequency induction-based line heating in COMSOL

In this project, I analyzed the high frequency induction-based line heating process for deforming thick plates in COMSOL Multiphysics® Software. First, I built a 2D axisymmetric model to investigate the shape and material of the concentrator as well as the amount of cooling required. Then I performed 3D numerical analysis of line heating process. The model includes electromagnetics, heat transfer, plastic deformation and moving mesh physics, resulting in the coupling effects like induction heating, expansion, heat coupling and themo-elesto-plastic effects.
