Seniors will have automatically applied for scholarships and grants by submitting a FAFSA no later than the 2nd semester of their senior year (February 14).
For private scholarships, fastweb.com is one of the best places to start. A couple of other good ones are Cappex and College Express. . Students should also check local businesses, parent's place of work, hospitals, and libraries for other opportunities.
Beware of loans! At Al Huda we advise against taking any loans for financial aid. This includes subsidized loans as well. However, grants and work study programs are perfectly fine.
