This class was pretty interesting. I found the portion about lathe interesting because in my High School we only had one that we needed special permission to use. I only used it once briefly and I wish I was able to use it more for a whole project. Something else I found very interesting was the meatal planer. Of course I know about wood planers but I did not realize that metal was able to be shaved like that in such thin layers. Lastly, something I wanted to ask in class but forgot was regarding the conditioning process. I saw something online about how metals exposed to different voltages will turn different colors. I was wondering why that happens?
