This week was only kind of interesting to me. I am not too interested in entrepreneurship but I am interested in the managing aspect. As I've mentioned I was president of my high school robotics team and enjoyed the leadership role. I was also stage manager as well as set construction manager for our schools theater club. I really liked finding the most effective ways to organize all the tools, materials, and people needed for a project and divvying out work in a way it will be done most efficiently. Lastly, my close friend is going to school for mechanical engineering and is looking to join an entrepreneurship program at his school so I have been hearing a lot about the process from him. It is cool, but just does not spark my interest very much.
I forgot to mention, I really really liked the video about redesigning the shopping cart we watched in out synchronous class. It was fascinating to see the process truly happening instead of the more unrealistic way where there is a line organization and no errors. It also reminded me of my robotics team. The papers posted all over the walls, people in a big group all brainstorming, and janky prototypes.
