Spilled Milk

Over the summer following my junior year of high school in Spain, I moved to Denmark where I met my long lost brother and sister. Come to find, between the two they had six kids - two of which whom are older than me.

As I was in a new country and knew nobody except my family members, I had a ton of free time on my hands. I became quickly enamored with the idea of using that time to make a short film. After some convincing, my brother Oliver agreed to act as the lead in my movie, with the assistance of his four young kids (my nephews!).

The movie was a spin on the classic time-travelling assassin story. In this story, our unnamed protagonist goes back in time to kill Jackson Mercury, a deadly assailant who our protagonist does not yet realize is only 6 years old. Instead of killing the young boy, our protagonist becomes his new dad, and tries to father him into becoming a better person.
