Understanding the fundamentals of software allows for faster diagnosing of software-related issues and minimizes the amount of research needed to fix issues. This knowledge is the core of everything in this field. We need to be on top of new technology, including new software to be effective at supporting customers, fellow employees, and networks. I’ve learned to always be patient, especially with newer software that is continuously developed. On that note, software changes all the time, so it’s necessary to always learn what is new by reading patch notes that are released with updates.
