Welcome to the Aldrich Parent/Teacher Organization!

The Aldrich Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) strengthens our school community by building connections between families, staff, and the broader Aldrich community. Part of Millard Public Schools in Omaha, Nebraska, Aldrich Elementary serves more than 420 students and 50+ staff members each year. As a recognized nonprofit and volunteer-driven organization, the PTO raises funds and sponsors events to support and enrich the school experience for all.

We provide classroom and staff support, fund facility improvements like additional playground swings and new risers, and host fun, meaningful events such as Olympic Day and the International Festival. PTO contributions have helped bring exciting enhancements to Aldrich, including a book vending machine, Gaga ball pit, water bottle filling stations, an outdoor classroom, visiting authors, and more!

What We Do:

• Fund school improvements and enrichment programs

• Provide free Olympic Day t-shirts for all students and staff

• Organize events that connect families to the school

• Show appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff

How We Fund Our Work:

To support Aldrich without constantly asking families for donations, we’ve shifted toward a few larger, more impactful fundraisers—like the Color Run, which we now run with MyBooster. Even after fees, this partnership has significantly increased the funds raised.

This change means fewer asks for ad hoc donations. For example:

• Staff luncheons are now catered, instead of requesting food donations

• Classroom party supplies are covered through teacher grants, not family contributions.

We know parents and guardians are busy, and we’re committed to using your support thoughtfully. Thanks to this approach, we’ve been able to do more—with fewer asks.
