"The Alabama Technology in Motion (ATIM) Specialists provide training/modeling for (K-12) teachers on integrating digital literacy and computer science into the curriculum using the Alabama Course of Study: Digital Literacy and Computer Science standards. They provide professional development that enables educators to become and remain proficient in the use of technology so they can better facilitate learning. "

"The Alabama Learning Exchange (ALEX) works with Alabama's top educators to create free standards-based curriculum resources that are connected to Alabama Courses of Study. The Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) Course of Study is included with hundreds of resources aligned to standards. The ALEX program partners with the Alabama Department of Education’s Instructional Services division to create tools and resources such as “unpacking” content standards for new courses of study. Unpacking standards results in a tool that teachers can use to have a better understanding of what students should know and be able to do upon mastering a standard. "

"CS4Alabama is dedicated to advocating for high-quality K-12 computer science education in Alabama and ensuring its accessibility to all students, specifically targeting under-represented students including girls, minorities, and low socioeconomic students. "

Computer Science and Digital Literacy standards aligned to the CC & NGSS. Curriculum has been developed for K - 12 grades. We have trained Facilitators for the state of Alabama through the regional partner, A + College Ready.

Code.org® is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities. Our vision is that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science, just like biology, chemistry or algebra. Code.org provides the leading curriculum for K-12 computer science in the largest school districts in the United States and Code.org also organizes the annual Hour of Code campaign which has engaged 10% of all students in the world. "TEALS helps high schools build and grow sustainable computer science programs through partnerships between classroom teachers and tech industry volunteers. They work as a team to deliver CS education to students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn CS in their school. "
