I’m a placenta nerd, and I often get carried away with this topic,  bring it up at parties, and mention it in conversations every opportunity possible. 

The placenta is an organ that carries with it a slew of stem cells, hormones, iron, protein, and fiber, and is eaten by most mammals immediately after birth.

Placenta can be made into medicine promptly after labor, saved as placenta capsules for your child to use later, and consumed in a myriad of ways. I’ve made people tinctures, jerky, stew, and smoothie bags, because the ideas and ways to consume placentas are endless. 

Placentas inspire beautiful art; whether it’s a simple blood print for posterity, food safe dye to hang on a wall, acrylic paint, or a tree of life rendered over the imprint, images are always captivating and raw.

    *Placenta Encapsulation - $200-$500 sliding scale
    *Placenta Tincturing - This always includes and is an add on to encapsulation, as only part of the placenta is needed for tincturing - $50-$200
    *Other Consumption Methods - $100-400
    *Placenta Prints - All prints will be sprayed with a clear varnish unless otherwise requested to ensure the print lasts as long as possible. Prints are created on a thick stock of paper and specialty paper can be used with a small upcharge for materials
            *Blood Print - Can be consumed after. This is the most common request I receive for placenta prints - $60-$150
            *Food Coloring Print, Comes with 1 Blood print when desired -  $75-$175
            *Non Edible Inks or Paint - Price TBD depending on what resources are required    *Placenta art - Turn your placenta print into a  unique work of art using acrylics - Price TBD on resources and time needed for request and preferences
