I am a family/friend oriented person and I love being able to let my imagination go free. Being dependable, motivated, and trustworthy is very meaningful to me and are just some of the values I live my life by. Not to mention, living life with good laughs, joy, and positive energy too.

My name is Alanna Rivera and I am a 17 year old. I have been in the National Honor Society since my Sophomore year, I'm the editor in chief of the newspaper club, and some accomplishments I've had is being recognized as an AP scholar with distinction. I have been through a fair share of switching interests. After wanting to become a singer, then a hairstylist, to wanting to major in Psychology, my passions were all over the place. Being in the Communications Academy made Video Production and filming as one of my passions as well. It showed me the power of creation and discovery. It showed me the importance of spreading a message through video. I've grown more into my identity through my time in the Communications Academy, and I have met fantastic people along the way. I want to positively influence the world and people around me, and now I know the different means of doing so.
