Wings

Jack Powell and David Armstrong leave their hometown as rivals in love with the same woman but decide to form a "temporary truce" when they find themselves flying side by side in The Great War. Enamored with youthful naïveté and destined for wartime glory, the two find themselves grappling with the complexities of war, love, and life. 

In 1927, the groundbreaking silent film "Wings" was not only the first film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture but also the first film to show a kiss between two men.
