Bio

Alaina Tennant is a young playwright and creative from Akron, Ohio. She is a fall 2025 playwriting student at the Eugene O'Neill Center's National Theatre Institute and is currently completing her BFA in playwriting at Ohio University. 

In the summer of 2025, Alaina completed an internship at the MAPS Air Museum in Canton, Ohio, where she researched and wrote living history performances for their WWII Weekend event, as well as other archival work. 

Through her work, she strives to connect audiences with untold or forgotten stories from history. Her favorite projects are honest studies of human complexity - where we came from and where we may be going.
