AI tools like ChatGPT, DALL·E, and Perplexity each bring unique value, from enhancing conceptual design to backing up data with research.
What surprised me most was how well these AI tools complement each other. While ChatGPT offered a deep theoretical understanding and provided research insights, DALL·E added a creative visual perspective, and Perplexity supplied up-to-date research to support sustainable design practices. The synergy between them exceeded my expectations.
AI's limitations lie in its dependence on large datasets and pre-existing information. It also faces challenges in adapting to real-world constraints, as it cannot always account for every variable in architectural design, such as specific site conditions or human creativity. Additionally, there’s always the risk of bias in the data, which can affect the outcome of AI-generated solutions.
