If I were to choose my top 3 favorite pictures in my photo collection, I think I'd choose these three!🍃

“This is a battle to save humanity. Our duty is the heaviest of all, Master.” ⚜️
The object photographed in this picture is one of my favorite character in the game Fate/Grand Order which is Arthur Pendragon [Prototype]’s Figma figure. This photo is the most memorable one despite being taken years ago (2021) at our house as I put a lot of effort into this photoshoot such as making a background set for the character! We printed the background on photo paper to achieve a glossy texture as it fits the setting of King Arthur’s throne room. Then, we assembled the parts of the Figma figure and try a bunch of poses but were convinced to recreate Arthur Pendragon [Prototype]’s Stage 2 Ascension pose in-game.
We have a lot of photos taken but this one was my favorite out of all of them as I love how it turned out similar to Arthur’s picture in the game – from the pose, the background, and the photo’s angle! I think the hardest part when I was taking a snap of this is the angle as I wanted to avoid it being flat and make it more dynamic to emphasize the character’s knightly personality. Overall, I remembered how much I enjoyed doing this photoshoot despite being school homework as it was fun to do the background set as well as thinking about how to make the picture have depth and be dynamic. Although the photo was old (so as the quality of the photo as I’ve used my sister’s old phone on this one), I still think it turned out to be a good photo despite not having a high-quality camera or tools for taking pictures.
“Every sunset brings the promise of a new dawn” 🌇
This photo of MOA’s seaside during sunset was quite a whim of mine as I wanted to capture the tranquil moment I have with my close friends – just sitting there and enjoying the peaceful breeze of the wind. To be honest, we were quite exhausted to push through our hectic plans for that day as our friend group just tried to fit each other’s schedules to make this get-together happen in early 2024. That day was also one of the times we were complete in our meetups as we were busy in our college lives. Nevertheless, sunsets remind us of how this day will end but there will always be opportunities to have get-togethers like this if we’ll patiently wait for the new dawn! Overall, I love how this picture seems dramatic and poetic due to the natural lighting of the photo – from the setting sun and its reflection to the ripples of the sea. It’s like capturing the nature of life, even if there are ripples in our daily lives, we can still look forward that may tomorrow reflect a beautiful day on the sea.

Slice of Life? More like Slice of Cheesecake! 🍰
This photo was taken in August 2024 when we celebrated my father's birthday! Since I was not able to attend last year’s celebration and also celebrate my birthday in 2024 due to personal responsibilities I have, they decided to gift me my favorite cake flavor which is blueberry cheesecake (with mango syrup because we were indecisive and adventurous at that time). I took a snap of this because of the story behind it but I think I could have done better with the photo taking haha. Looking back, why did I photograph this in this specific angle? I think I wanted to capture the whole slice but at the same time, I also wanted to capture the flavor/syrup part. I tried to follow the rule of thirds here while also trying to make the picture have depth with the angle but the result was fine but not that amazing in my opinion. I think this could have turned out better like the lighting and the angle of the picture as I was not that satisfied with the result of this. But hey, this is just a slice of life, right? There can still be more slices of life we can capture the moment.
