I've been slaving away at our first VIDEO update, which I thought I'd be able to send you in this email, but, alas, I'm not done with it yet and we don't have any volunteers signed up for tomorrow yet! ACK!Β I apologize in advance because I'm about to get real spammy.Β I will email you the video later today once I finish it!Β It's important, so stay tuned!
Please email me back if you're able to sign up for tomorrow's volunteer event to save our burrowing owls and migratory monarch butterflies!
The requirements to join are:
βοΈ Wear sun protection (sunscreen + hat) and close-toed shoes and pants that cover your legs (to avoid scratching yourself on the prickly weeds)
π§ Bring a water bottle (and eat a hearty breakfast for energy)
π§βπ§ Be at least 12 years old, and accompanied by a guardian if under 18
𧀠Gloves will be provided as well but it's highly recommended you bring your own.
βοΈ The rest of the tools, such as shovels, pick axes, wheelbarrows, etc. will be provided.
πͺ If you've got your own tools that you love to use or would like to share, you're welcome to bring them! Some volunteers bring knee pads/a stool for added comfort.

Weβve got a volunteer bringing 196 native milkweeds we need to plant so please come help if you can! We had a team of Googlers volunteer a week ago to prep the area for yβall to do so! I'll show you a video recap of last year's work I've been working on Monday! π₯π€©
