Conclusion: Translation is used in different field and we need to use the procedures for it to be clear in the target language. The Moodle information was very complete and we can go back to learn more. The most interesting was the optional projects I was surprised by the significant variations in translated movie titles and Bible translations.
Suggestion:
We know that the time is limited in class but, I suggest incorporating a guided practice session on translation procedures with the activity for everyone before with start identifying the technique and procedure independently. We've encountered various uncertainties that became clear after viewing different presentations throughout the course. However, having a practice session beforehand would have been more beneficial.
The origin of the name Aisha is Arabic and it means "life" or "alive".
I am Panamanian, I was born and raised in the beautiful region of Bocas del Toro.
I graduated with an Associate Degree in English and I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree. I also have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, which is my other passion. I'm a perpetual learner, always excited to acquire new knowledge and skills.
I love food and my favorite food is desserts. Finally, I love animals, and I have three adorable dogs.
Since I was a child I always loved going to the beach and exploring nature.
Finally, I developed a love for books, one of my dreams is to become a renowned writer.
Family and friends
I chose to study this carrier because I previously studied a Bachelor degree in English.
I believe that translation is a beautiful carrier in which you get to know a lot of people, you are able to learn different topics and eventually you become proficient in different fields because you have to investigate in order to do a excellent job
I envision myself translating books and working as an interpreter.
I regularly apply critical thinking skills in my daily life. For instance, in my professional role, I coordinate substitute teacher schedules, which is like doing a puzzle with all the classes needs and lack of personnel.
In my personal life with the budget, I have to apply critical thinking even for the grocery shopping.
