Summer 2005
Summer 2005 was a year of decline in Humberside's charter services due to the opening of Doncaster airport in the April of that year; Thomson trasferred some of their flights, including the new Corfu service to there, while another of the airport's main tour operators, Airtours, downsized due to financial problems. They did however step in to offer a Malaga service at the last minute using a new airline to Humberside, Astraeus.
Other notable points were the reduction of Palma flights to 5 a week, a new Larnaca flight for Olympic Hoiidays and a short season of flights to Antalya in Turkey; these were a success and the route now operates all summer - for summer 2005 this brought a new airline, Sun Express, to Humberside. Another new airline was Air Southwest operating the Jersey charter flights.

Summer 2006
This summer saw an aircraft based at Humberside Airport for part of the week to operate charter flights for the first time. Excel Airways based a B737-800 from Wednesday to Friday, with Saturday flights in peak summer. They operated a mix of existing flights and new charters to Rhodes and Paphos, both which had previously been served from Humberside in the past.
Two brand new destinations where Fuerteventura and the airport's first regular intercontinental flight to Monastir in Tunisia. This also brought a new airline to Humberside, Nouvelair. Other developments included the Antalya flights operating all summer (via Exeter one way)

Summer 2007
Despite initially putting flights on sale that would keep a based aircraft busy all week, Excel Airways did not reopen their Humberside base for Summer 2007, leading to the loss of flights to Malaga, Paphos and Rhodes. Other changes saw the axing of Humberside's only African link, to Monastir in Tunisia. New tour operator to Humberside, Goldtrail Holidays, introduced peak season flights to Bodrum and Dalaman, the former providing a partial replacement for the full season service that had been axed.

Winter 2008/09
Winter 2008/09 was one of the best winter season's for a while. The outbased Thomas Cook Airlines B757-200 had an increased workload with new part season flights to Dalaman, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Larnaca. However the Balkan Holidays ski service to Plovdiv did not operate. And there was also a notable special departure flight on Thursday 13th November 2008, to Miami, to connect with a Fred Olsen Cruise. It did however operate via Belfast International and the airline was ThomsonFly with a B767-300ER.

Summer 2009 can only be described as a disaster with the loss of 10 weekly flights and 7 destinations; Faro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Menorca and Tenerife. Goldtrail Holiday flights to Bodrum and Dalaman where reduced to peak summer operation only but a new peak season Dalaman service was started for h4u, a new tour operator to Humberside. Jersey flights where converted to scheduled service operated by Flybe and no longer appear in this section.

Winter 2009/10
Summer 2009 was a disaster, and so was Winter 2009-10. From one of the best winter season's Humberside had ever seen, to no regular charter flights at all. The outbased Thomas Cook Airlines aircraft was withdrawn, as was the Inghams Innsbruck ski charter and the Thomson Alicante flight. 3 Lapland day trips, a special departure to Malta and a Fred Olsen Cruises flight, shared with Dublin and operated by Thomson Airways to connect with a Costa Rica to Barbados cruise, where the only charter flights Humberside Airport saw during Winter 2009/10.
