Nurse Transition Program
Age cutoff: Actual age on EAD is less than 48.
Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
State License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or pass the NCLEX 30 days after graduation GPA: Minimum 3.5
GPA Note: GPA waiver(s) are given if less than 3.5 but it’s based on a case-by-case.
Credible Work Experience: Novice or less than one year of credible full-time clinical working experience as of their accession date.
National Certification(s): Must have at least Basic Life Support (BLS) to apply
Available Specialties: 46N1-Medical-Surgical Nurse (Clinical Nurse), 46N1G- Perinatal/Obstetrical Nurse, and 46S1-Perioperative/Operating Room Nurse
Start Process: January-May
Board Date: Mid-August

Rank/Grade: Second Lieutenant/O-1
Fully Quality (FQ) Nurse Corps
Age cutoff: Actual age on EAD is less than 48.
Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
State License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
GPA: N/A
Credible Work Experience: Must have 12 months of Full-Time, RN licensed, credible experience, within the last three years to apply.
National Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) required by all FQ and include all that the applicant has.
Available Specialties: Clinical Nurse 46N3, Critical Care Nurse 46N3E, Neonatal ICU Nurse 46N3F, Obstetrical Nurse 46N3G, Emergency Room/Trauma Nurse 46N3J, Flight Nurse 46F1/3, Mental Health Nurse 46P3, & Perioperative Nurse 46S3

Fully Quality (FQ) Advance Practice Nurse
Age cutoff: Actual age on EAD is less than 48.
Degree: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor Nursing Practice (DNP)
State License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and have Privileged Advance Practice in specialty to apply.
GPA: N/A
Credible Work Experience: Have a minimum of one year qualified experience that includes at least six months as a privileged advanced practice nurse in specialty to apply.
National Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) required by all FQ and include all that the applicant has.
Available Specialties: Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner 46Y3A, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner 46Y3B, Nurse Midwife 46Y3G, Family Nurse Practitioner 46Y3H, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner 46Y3P, & Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist 46Y3M
