The PAQR surveys and researches Cambodia's atmospheric environment autonomously and continuously. It trains the people who do that research and shares the scientific knowledge it produces. The Platform takes over the SATREPS monitoring facilities and data systems when the project ends in June 2027.

Research: atmospheric research built on continuous air quality monitoring and chemical analysis of PM
Capacity development: postgraduate supervision, on-the-job training, SOPs and training materials
Data and information: database and network data system; results provided to national partners
Cooperation and outreach: exchange with partners; air quality information for students and the public
Facility management: calibration, maintenance, consumables, and instrument renewal planning

The same targets apply every year. The Steering Committee approves the plan at the start of each year and reviews the results at the end.
