Guideline for authors

Original article or mini-reviews, case reports, skill/ surgical video, can be submitted.

 Try to be clear and concise while writing the scientific manuscript and use bullets, lists and short sentences and paragraphs where appropriate.

 There should not be more than two authors for any article.

 References should be less then 5 and be given in Vancouver style and cited in the manuscript.

 Articles should not be more than 1500 words.

 On first page mention the title for your article, authors with their affiliations and contact details including email and phone number is must.

 Articles should be sent as an attachment, in either Word (.doc or .docx), plaintext (.txt, use

Unicode encoding), or richtext (.rtf) format. Please do not send in .pdf format.

 Original Videos, presentations, are also sought for the e-newsletters.. Submit through email or if large film send it as drive link. Mention 4-5 line summary about the video. E-bulletin poses the video link with the author’s name and affiliation.

 Relevant pictures / images are highly encouraged to be submitted along with your article with its legend and cited in the article text.

 Images must fall into one of these categories: [1] your own work—i.e. you took the photograph; [2] freely licensed; [3] public domain; there should not be any copyright issue already published images.

 Attach images to the same e-mail as your article submission.

 Image should be in jpeg or png format only with good pixel quality.

 Include a short (1 sentence) caption / legend of each image.

 Cite sources and provide references to quotations and facts when used.

 Figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online.

 It is mandatory that the Copyright / Authorship / Disclosure is signed by all the authors, expressly transferring copyright to FOGSI in the event the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Review guidelines:

 Our editorial board team and the experts of advisory board reviews the article /

 Each article is reviewed by three reviewer experts, and nod from two is must for the acceptance in the e-newsletter.

 Not acceptable manuscript will be reverted back through mail to the primary author.

 Repetition of the same article or previously published topics will not be considered.

 Plagiarism will be checked, similarity index of 10% only allowed excluding references.

 Editorial team will work with you via e-mail to edit and proof your accepted submission prior to publication.
