Introduction

Title: OBG-Speculum

“Speculum” is an E-bulletin initiated by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) Gorakhpur in the year 2023 on twice yearly frequency as a part of continued medical education policy. As per its name speculum, it envisages the original articles and updated pieces of information related to the subject for the students, and doctors practising obstetrics & gynaecology. This 2nd volume of this E-bulletin, OBG-Speculum is focused on the common woman’s reproductive health issues.

AIM:

Speculum is a scientific compilation of articles providing more clinically oriented practical and recent information related to the subject, Obstetrics & Gynaecology to update and refresh the knowledge of OBG practitioners and useful for improvising their professional activities. Online open access format kept for larger dissemination of the scientific knowledge to aspiring young generation keen to pursue the career in OBG or those in the phase of establishing practice and brushing up for the experienced practitioners.

SCOPE:

Scope of this E-bulletin is to cover all the broad areas of OBG and publish updated data, evidence, guidelines, and operative skills through videos, case reports and articles that focus on women’s reproductive health. It invites editorials and articles from experts in the field to share the information in the recent, conferences, CME, clincal Trials. It is a plateform for communication and exchange of thoughts. This e-bulletin provides a platform for beginners in the field of research and publication.
