Its methods include group sessions and art therapy, and 2 nurses, Martha and Mark, are always on the lookout for anyone breaking the No Geeky Material rule. However, this doesn't stop the patients from organizing and trying to evade their surveillance so they can continue arguing about who the Younger More Beautiful Queen will turn out to be, or Hollywood's latest questionable casting decision.

The clinic has an impressive success rate, though some of its patients may relapse. Unfortunately, it also has a mad scientist doing experiments in the basement.

Also introduced in Geek Addiction, this is where Penny's roommate, Anne, got the bit of her target needed to make a proper voodoo doll. In the end, Anne's friend gives Penny the address so she can make her own doll. Penny checks it out in Penny and the Silver Key #1, but ends up giving up because she fears she's going too far.

The website was mentioned by the Silicon Valley Cultists, too. This is where the cultists got the material needed for the ritual. The cultist leading the ritual wasn't happy with the idea of throwing toenails at the dreaded Necronomicon, but it worked. 9 out of 10 sorcerers give it 5 stars on Yelp.

There are likely several vampire-themed festivals in Romania, but the one depicted in Lesson One: Vampires is entirely fictional. Organized by the irascible Greg Lloyd, it was usually a small festival featuring movies, workshops, and public discussions. Things changed in 2016 when it hosted the premiere of highly anticipated vampire romance movie A Hearse Named Desire. That was also the last year the festival took place due to what the media described as mass suicides induced by mass hysteria that saw dozens of vampire fans 'bleed themselves' to death. In reality, they were the victims of a vicious group of real bloodsuckers. Until its untimely demise, the festival took place at (a fictionalized version of) Dracula's castle.

A remake of real-life classic A Streetcar Named Desire that turned Stanley into a vampire and put him and Blanche together in a passionate romance. It stars Cathy Carlisle and was supposed to have its international premiere at the Vampire Festival of Romania, but that was cancelled after real vampires started killing everyone. Hearse drew to the festival not only a great number of more conventional vampire fans, but also protesters, including Cathy's own sister.

A cheesy, long-running fantasy series of movies that gave Cathy her big screen debut in Elfs and Goblins VIII: Revenge of the Cursed Trolls (Lesson One Vampires). Not much is known about the series save that it's pretty bad and the misspelled title was due to a mistake by the printer that made the posters for the first one. As for Cathy's debut, it's said to have a scene featuring more fake blood than all of Hammer Movies' output combined, and Cathy's performance was the only good thing about it (Penny's Backstory). The series was created by Dick Carey and Eric (Rebellion).

Dick Carey is also mentioned in Rebellion as the writer of the movie that so enraged the tentacled spawn of Yuggoth.
