Cathy Carlisle is Maggie's elder sister. She's an actress and has been trying to make it Hollywood for nearly a decade. Her first movie role was as a goblin concubine in cheesy Sword and Sorcery sequel Elfs and Goblins VIII: Revenge of the Cursed Trolls. Critics agreed that her acting was the only good thing about it and Cathy seemed poised to become a star.

Unfortunately, after she accidentally killed a producer's emotional support chicken at a party, Cathy has found it difficult to get good roles. That she's needed anger management therapy in the past doesn't help, but it was mostly the chicken. Getting the lead in the vampire romance re-imagining of A Streetcar Named Desire should've been her big break, but the vampire attack during the premiere of A Hearse Named Desire ruined everything (Lesson One: Vampires). The situation was made even worse thanks to Penny's viral video and her known connection to Cathy's sister.

Cathy and Maggie don't always get along due to Cathy's dubious choice of roles and what Maggie sees as a betrayal of her feminist principles. She's sarcastic and finds it hard not to roll her eyes at people's general stupidity. She usually shows up alongside her boyfriend, Rick, who was her Hearse co-star. Her most recent movie should've been a romantic comedy in which Cathy played an uptight British woman who learned to loosen up thanks to Hygge, but the director's relationship troubles turned it into a Sci-fi/Horror hybrid in which a woman must fight mind controlling aliens (Rebellion).

Cathy has a long-standing rivalry with Tina, with whom she used to be friends with, and who is even less successful in Hollywood. It was Tina whom she may or may not have locked in a closet to get her breakthrough role in Elfs and Goblins (she totally did). The 2 often exchange thinly veiled insults on social media. More recently, Tina accused Cathy of being behind the review bombing of her latest effort, an indie movie featuring a romantic relationship with a real, live octopus (Rebellion). This time, however, it wasn't Cathy's fault, but rather the tentacled spawn of Yuggoth's.
