When it comes to the complexities involved in mathematics, my heart begins to race. Knowing that all the processes, functions, and mechanisms that the world runs on are made up of what seems like an endless string of only numbers has always been mind-boggling to me. This all became more real after I took my first course in calculus during my junior year of high school. I soon realized how much math is involved everywhere, like optimization problems and analyzing data. Ever since that day, I took the idea of becoming a mathematician and ran with it. I have since made it my goal to delve into the limitless options at my fingertips, from data science to statistics.
At the University of Cincinnati, I plan on growing my knowledge surrounding the vast field of mathematics, whether that is through study abroad programs or honors seminars. I am committed to continuing my path and graduating with honors, looking to make an impact on any field that comes my way. I believe that with internship opportunities and real-world applications of my knowledge, I can harness my full potential and take the next step in the ever-changing world that is math.
