Mobility in Slovenia – December 2025
The third transnational mobility of the Erasmus+ project took place in Ptuj, Slovenia, bringing together students and teachers for an intensive five-day programme focused on Ethical Artificial Intelligence, digital citizenship, and responsible technology use.
The mobility opened with a warm welcome at the host school, including a guided school tour and introductory meetings among teachers to reflect on project progress and align next steps. In parallel, students actively engaged in AI-assisted VEX IQ robotics workshops, collaborating with Slovenian peers and exploring how artificial intelligence can support problem-solving and innovation in a responsible way
Throughout the week, teachers participated in structured meetings and workshops addressing AI policy development, ethical considerations, and the integration of AI tools in language learning. At the same time, students took part in class observations and hands-on workshops, focusing on AI-supported presentation tools and data collection, enhancing both their digital competencies and critical thinking skills
A highlight of the mobility was the educational visit to Tehnopark Celje, where participants joined an AI robotics workshop, explored interactive exhibits, and reflected on real-world applications of artificial intelligence. The cultural programme was equally rich, including guided tours of Ptuj, participation in the Celje Fairytale Christmas Fair, and opportunities for informal intercultural exchange, strengthening European identity and collaboration among participants
The mobility concluded with collaborative planning sessions for upcoming project activities, a school community event, and a farewell dinner, reinforcing partnerships and shared commitment to fostering ethical, inclusive, and globally minded digital education. An optional visit to an AI-focused software company further enriched participants’ understanding of AI fluency and real-world innovation
This mobility successfully combined educational innovation, ethical reflection, and cultural exchange, empowering students and educators to act as responsible digital citizens in an increasingly AI-driven world.
