Mobility in Athens – April 2025
The second short-term learning, teaching, and training activity of the Ai4Ed Erasmus+ project was hosted by DES Primary and Middle School in Athens, Greece. The program focused on collaborative teaching, classroom innovation, and meaningful integration of AI concepts into everyday learning. Each day was designed to combine theory, practice, and intercultural exchange.
Day 1 – April 7
The mobility began with a welcome reception and a guided tour of the DES Primary School campus. The Cypriot team delivered engaging interactive lessons to students, sparking curiosity and discussion. Teachers held their first transnational meeting, while international students observed lessons in English and STEM, gaining exposure to DES’s interdisciplinary approach.
Day 2 – April 8
A joint workshop titled “AI Learning Cycles – Teachers and Students United” brought all participants together for collaborative reflection. Teachers then attended a seminar on gamification in education, while students joined classroom observations in English and Mathletics. The school’s Talent Show Final gave students a chance to connect through creativity and inclusion. Afternoon sessions focused on STEM and English, closing the day with further class observations.
Day 3 – April 9
The group visited DES Middle School for a morning of campus exploration and workshops. Teachers focused on creating personalized lesson plans, while students attended classes in coding and science. Returning to the Primary School, all participants joined in an Easter Egg Hunt. Students explored PE, language, and crafts in mixed groups—promoting integration and shared experiences.
Day 4 – April 10
Participants visited the Herakleidon Museum for an educational program on ancient Greek science, art, and technology. This was followed by a walking food tour in Athens, offering a relaxed opportunity to experience Greek culture and enjoy informal networking.
Day 5 – April 11
