The Erasmus+ KA210-SCH project “AI Compass: Guiding School Leaders Through Technological Frontiers” held its LTTA meeting on 23–24 September 2025 in Ankara, hosted by the Ministry of National Education Inspection Board (TKB). Partners from Lithuania, Slovenia, Serbia, and Türkiye attended.
Day 1 Highlights
TKB welcomed partners and introduced project goals.
PAMG presented the EU dimension and project structure.
Smart Institute delivered a keynote on AI trends in education.
Kreativna Stanica reviewed WP2 outputs, which will shape WP3 and the Teacher Handbook.
Afternoon sessions focused on practising AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, Curipod, Diffit, Gradescope) and refining modules.
Partners aligned on improving modules and referencing standards.
Day 2 Highlights
Smart Institute presented the AI Compass Academy – Digital Mentor, emphasising accessibility, data protection, and multilingual design.
Partners co-designed the Toolbox structure and set responsibilities.
Pilot testing plans were introduced; each partner will involve at least 10 teachers.
WP3 implementation dates were set for October–November.
Closing session included certificates and final remarks from TKB.
Key Decisions & Actions
All modules must include APA-style resource sections, with updates due by 15 October 2025.
Translation solutions for multilingual materials will be prepared by 20 October 2025.
Toolbox design and the Digital Mentor environment prototype will be finalised and presented in early November.
Pilot teacher lists are due 10 November, with piloting scheduled for 15–30 November 2025.
Partners agreed to use only free and open-access AI tools.
Newsletter 2 will summarise the LTTA, with drafts due 10 October.
Upcoming Milestones
Early November: Online meeting to review the Digital Mentor prototype, Toolbox structure, and APA updates.
Mid–late November: Full pilot testing of modules and Toolbox.
