Beginning Piano

This course is a beginning level music course designed to develop basic piano keyboarding skills. 

Prior musical experience is helpful, but not necessary. Students will become comfortable in creating basic melodic lines, and chordal accompaniments. 

Basic fundamentals in music theory will be presented. Students will also be able to compose and improvise basic melodic and harmonic material. 

Participation in performances is required as a component of the final grade.
