Starilters is a select ensemble of treble voices, chosen by the choral directors by way of audition. Intensive work in advanced vocal techniques, sight-reading, and ear training are foundational components of this course; members of this ensemble are also expected to learn and perform advanced choreography in various competitions in the spring term.

Many after-school and weekend rehearsals are required. Many public performances will be given, and membership in Starliters is a year-long commitment. Some expense to cover special costumes, props, and other elements for producing the competition show will be necessary for this course.

The Starliters are comprised of 22 talented singer/dancers. Aside from their passion for singing and dancing, many of the performers in Starliters are involved in athletics and student leadership roles, all while upholding high academic standards.

In the 2026 season, the Starliters appeared at the Batesville Showcase, Homestead the Fishers Spotlight Showcase where they were awarded Best Vocals, the Carroll Classic where they took Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and Grand Champion in their division. They also appeared at the South Dearborn Show Choir Invitational, the Lafayette Jefferson Xtreme Show Choir Showdown, and the Churubusco and Norwell show Choir Invitationals.

In addition to these events, the Starliters kicked off their season by co-hostng the the A-Town Showdown Show Choir Competition on January 24th, 2026.

Under the direction of Dr. Alan Alder and Kamryn Yensre, and choreographed by Isaac Berry, please welcome the Anderson High School Starliters!
