At the city scale, our Urban AI models support public services while optimising energy grids and logistics. At the building scale, we empower digital twins to reduce costs through predictive maintenance while simultaneously improving occupant health and comfort. Within industry, our algorithms boost manufacturing productivity while enhancing worker safety and ergonomics. By embedding this balanced intelligence in everything we do, this lab creates and investigates holistic solutions for a more ethical, productive, sustainable, and equitable use of AI in the African built environment.
