TOPIC 1 LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1.1. You will be able to identify two influential impacts on learning.
1.2. You will be able to list and define three domains of learning.
INTRODUCTION
Air Force supervisors and trainers have the responsibility to take on the role of instructor to their newly assigned personnel. There will be challenges in providing training to meet work center objectives and job task requirements. As new instructors, it is advantageous to understand how students receive and process information to meet the instructional goal. Teaching materials can evolve and be enhanced by considering the influential impacts of learning. There are two influential impacts of learning that will be discussed in this lesson: the behavioral approach and the cognitive approach. (Brown & Green, 2020).
Instructional materials that are developed to connect with different learning domains are found to be effective since they are organized and measured through skills, knowledge, and attitude. In this lesson, we'll discuss the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning domains to help reach your students' potential (Brown & Green, 2020).
